Designing the Core Loop of Kaiju Cleanup
What does hazardous bio-salvage actually look like when the battle is already over? Exploring the design challenges of carcass stabilization, containment, and cutting tools.

"When titans fall, the real work begins."
An introduction to the mechanical systems and vision behind Kaiju Cleanup.
In the aftermath of catastrophic titan incursions, cities are left in ruins—and gargantuan carcasses remain. Kaiju Cleanup focuses on the dangerous aftermath: high-risk biological demolition, stabilization, and industrial salvage operations.
Our design goal is to put players in charge of heavy cutting rigs, containment platforms, and crane systems to dismantle massive carcasses before chemical decomposition and volatile pressure pockets destabilize the quarantine zone.
We are designing the core loop around structural planning: relieving internal fluid pressures, stabilizing calcified bone structures, and managing hazardous bio-extraction under severe coastal weather conditions.
Design goals and prototype systems being explored for depth and physical consequence.
Designing specialized heavy cutting lasers, pneumatic splitters, and pressurized fluid extraction tools with deliberate physical handling.
Exploring dynamic carcass shifting, corrosive fluids, and volatile organ pressure systems where a careless cut causes structural collapse.
Planning mission structures that balance high-value anatomical salvage against strict perimeter quarantine windows and containment safety.
Visual direction focused on torrential coastal downpours, thick sea fog, and neon perimeter floodlights in devastated urban harbors.
Early visual exploration of environment tone, scale, and atmosphere.
